Error logging in to MailEnable webmail: Unknown or Disabled User!

Symptoms

When logging in to MailEnable webmail, the following error appears: 

Unknown or Disabled User!

Cause

Misconfiguration of the MailEnable.
As well, the error appears if you entered incorrect username/password.

Resolution

  1. Go to %plesk_dir%\\Mail Servers\\Mail Enable\\Bin
  2. Run 'MEInstaller.exe' and perform the following steps:

    2.1 Re-Register Administration Components

    2.2 Repair Configuration Files

    2.3 Reset IIS Virtual Directory Configuration settings for ASP/ASPX Platform

  3. Restart IIS. Run the following in command line:

    iisreset
