After in-place OS upgrade, using utilities like
apt-get dist upgrade
, Plesk is almost removed, and sites are down.
In-place OS upgrade procedure is not supported by Plesk.
Create a backup of
# tar zcf etc_psa.tgz /etc/psa
Copy pre-remove dump from
- Install Plesk
Restore pre-remove dump
# zcat /root/mysql.plesk.core.prerm.<PLESK_VERSION>.dump.gz | mysql -uadmin -p`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow`
Check that admin password is not corrupted.
# plesk bin admin --show-password
If it corrupted,
/etc/psacontent can be restored from the backup created previously. If it did not help, reset admin password
# plesk bin admin --set-admin-password -passwd <PASSWORD>
Reconfigure web sites
# /usr/local/psa/bin/repair --run
Verify that all sites are listed in Apache:
# apache2ctl -S
