Unable to open Website & Domains: Internal error: is out of webspace

If click on the Website & Domains tab, Plesk shows the following error:

 Internal error: is out of webspace
Message is out of webspace
File Webspace.php
Line 334
Type PleskFatalException

While trying to reconfigure IIS settings for a domain using the websrvmng.exe utility, the following error is shown:

C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Parallels\\Plesk\\admin\\bin>websrvmng.exe --reconfigure-vhost --vhost-name=example.com,

The Plesk database has inconsistencies due to corrupted certificates in the IIS configuration.

  1. Make sure that the symptoms are the same as described in this KB. "Internal error: is out of webspace" can be caused by other problems. Do not modify database if it is not clear that it is exactly the same case.

  2. Run the following query to identify the inconsistencies:

    How to access Plesk database

    mysql> SELECT id,name FROM domains WHERE htype='vrt_hst' AND id NOT IN (SELECT dom_id FROM hosting);
  3. Backup psa database backup before any changes:

    How can I backup/restore a Plesk database dump?

  4. Run another query to fix inconsistency:

    mysql> UPDATE domains SET htype='none' WHERE htype='vrt_hst' AND id NOT IN (SELECT dom_id FROM hosting);
  5. To make sure the issue does not reappear, delete server certificates from IIS > Server > Server certificates .

  6. Run Plesk Reconfigurator > Repair Plesk Installation > Plesk Services
