Is it possible to create a sub.sub domain mailbox?

I have a host running under the name sub.example.com. The mailbox I need create is a subdomain of this, e.g. sub2.sub1.example.com

Under the subscription for sub1.example.com I used 'Add domain' as described to create sub2.sub1.example.com and added a mailbox and set a mail-forward on it, e.g. no need to log into the mailbox as anything received should be forwarded...but nothing?

    Any ideas?

@Iain Elaborate please where are trying to forward emails? It would be great if you could provide step-by-step instructions.

This functionality is now available in the latest Plesk Onyx 17.9 Preview 7 (https://docs.plesk.com/release-notes/onyx/change-log/#contents-179-preview7). We encourage you to check the implementation and let us know what you think. Please visit the following forum thread to learn how to access the preview: https://talk.plesk.com/threads/plesk-onyx-17-9-preview.348675/page-2#post-855221

We would appreciate hearing your feedback on the implementation of this functionality. Thanks in advance!

P.S. Do not use the Preview build in production environments. The Preview build is for evaluation and early testing purposes only.

    Hello Poonyalid Penpargkul,
Indeed this functionality was added into Plesk Obsidian. Thank you for your input! Article and Change Log were updated accordingly. Please, note that Plesk Obsidian is not stable release yet, do not install or upgrade it in production servers. Apply the workaround from the article instead.

Ekaterina Babenko it seems that the features for subdomains are not yet fully integrated:

    a) I was wondering whether there is on purpose no separate MX DNS record for a domain where I enabled mail communication.

    b) When I enable DKIM signing for a subdomain, Plesk does not automatically generate the required MX records where the public DKIM key is stored.

    Hello,

For point a): MX DNS record should be added by default - I recommend taking a look at your DNS template to see if the MX record is added there.

As for point b): "Activate mail service on this domain " option should be checked on the subdomain too at Plesk > Domains > one.example.com > Mail Settings  - with that done, you can select "Use DKIM spam protection system to sign outgoing email messages" on the same screen and the DNS related record will be added into the DNS zone.

    Thanks
