How to enable debug log in Plesk installer?
There are few options:
/usr/local/psa/admin/bin/autoinstaller --debug' to enable debug logging of AI itself. Debug messages are written only to the usual log file. This will show more details about operations and decisions AI performs.
env PLESK_INSTALLER_DEBUG=1 /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/autoinstaller' to force Plesk package scripts to show execution trace (same as bash -x). This will show A LOT of information that you probably don’t need, but makes it possible to debug package scripts. Be warned that some trace messages (prefixed with + sign) might get redirected to various logs (such as Plesk installation log).
env PLESK_INSTALLER_VERBOSE=1 /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/autoinstaller' to force Plesk package scripts output to be more verbose. This doesn’t provide more information than stored in Plesk installation log, but rather shows this information on console as well.
All of these debugging approaches may be combined in a natural way.
