On attempt to open PHP page in a browser the following error is shown:
CONFIG_TEXT: HTTP Error 404.3 - Not Found
The page you are requesting cannot be served because of the extension configuration. If the page is a script, add a handler. If the file should be downloaded, add a MIME map.
PHP handlers mapping is not configured.
Log in to Plesk using RDP.
Go to IIS > Sites > example.com > Handler Mapping and check if PHP handlers are presented:
If none are presented, log in to Plesk web interface, go to Subscriptions > example.com > Websites & Domains > Hosting Settings.
Under Web Scripting and Statistics disable PHP support and click Apply. Then enable back PHP support (choose desired PHP version) and click OK to apply changes.
To make sure that handlers were added check this in IIS > example.com > Handler Mapping .
Additionally it can be checked by adding the
file with the content below to the document root in Plesk > Domains > example.com > File Manager:
Then open the
example.com/test.php page in a browser. The information about PHP version that is being used should be shown:
