Symptoms

Cannot choose an application to install, or check the application tab of the subscription. The following error appears:

APS Catalog error: couldn't connect to host

or

APS Catalog error: Failed to connect to catalog.marketplace.parallels.com port 80: Timed out

Cause

'apscatalog.com' and 'catalog.marketplace.parallels.com' are not resolved into a proper IP address

Resolution

Check '/etc/hosts' file on Linux or ' %windir%\\system32\\drivers\\etc\\hosts ' on Windows and make sure that there is an explicit definition of IP addresses for the domains is specified, like the following:

199.115.107.45 catalog.marketplace.parallels.com
199.115.107.45 apscatalog.com

Also, please make sure that 80 port is not filtered:

# telnet apscatalog.com 80

# telnet catalog.marketplace.parallels.com 80
