Is there a default username and password in Plesk?
Answer
The default username for Plesk UI is 'admin'. Such user has Plesk Administrator permissions and cannot be removed or renamed. There is no default password, it is getting automatically generated after installation. Plesk admin password is set during the first login.
If you don't know the password, contact your hosting provider's support or server's administrator.
Also, it is possible to login to Plesk if you have SSH/RDP connection.

Is this the "built-in Administrator account" referenced in this answer ?

"built-in Administrator account" is a default administrator account in Windows.
