Installing Plesk micro-updates

Applicable to:

  • Plesk for Windows
  • Plesk for Linux

General information

Plesk microupdates can be installed either using command-line interface or Plesk panel.

Note: during the micro-update installation, Plesk services can be restarted.

Step-by-Step Guidance

There are two ways to install Plesk micro-updates.

  1. Connect to the server using SSH/RDP .
  2. Using command-line interface:

    • Plesk 11.x and 12.0 for Linux:

      # /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/autoinstaller --select-product-id plesk --select-release-current --reinstall-patch --install-component panel

    • Plesk 11.x and 12.0 for Windows:

      C:\> "%plesk_bin%\ai.exe" --console --select-product-id panel --select-release-current --reinstall-patch --install-component panel

    • Plesk 12.5 and above for Windows and Linux:
      plesk installer --select-release-current --reinstall-patch --upgrade-installed-components
  3. Using Plesk web interface:

    In Plesk 11.0 and above, the functionality is available at Plesk > Tools & Settings > Updates and Upgrades :

In command-line interface, use the following command:

plesk version
