Cannot to connect to additional FTP accounts after switching domain IP: 530 User cannot log in, home directory inaccessible

Symptoms

If a domain IP address changes, e.g. from 192.0.2.1 to 192.0.2.2 , main FTP account for the domain is transferred to 192.0.2.2 FTP site. However, additional FTP accounts get removed from 192.0.2.1 and not created in 192.0.2.2 . As a result, it is not possible to establish FTP connections with additional FTP account:

    530 User cannot log in, home directory inaccessible.
Login failed.
Remote system type is Windows_NT.

Cause

Internal issue with ID #PPPM-4440 , which was fixed in Plesk 12 MU#86 and Plesk 12.5 MU#38 .

Resolution

Apply latest Plesk microupdates .
