Some mail users using webmail Roundcube are having issues sending mails (long delays over 120 seconds).
Some mail users are unable to send messages via Roundcube with an error:
CONFIG_TEXT: Request time out.
Customer have set Check spelling before sending a message checkbox in
Preferences. Roundcube is configured to use remote server that is not available.
Check that access to the spell-checking online service is not blocked by firewall and DNS-name is resolving successfully. Online spell-checking service is defined in
/usr/share/psa-roundcube/program/lib/Roundcube/rcube_spellchecker.phpfile by the string
GOOGLE_HOST = 'ssl://spell.roundcube.net'('ssl://spell.roundcube.net' is a default value).
Use local service for spell checking. Please see this article to configure it.
It is possible to disable it on the user side in Roundcube:
Go to Settings->Preferences->Composing Messages->Spellcheck Options and clear checkbox Check spelling before sending a message.
To disable spell checking on the whole server log in to server using SSH:
Set this parameter to "
false" and save changes.
