[HOTFIX] After restoration from snapshot, images are missing on the published site

Applicable to:

  • Plesk 11.0 for Windows
  • Plesk 11.0 for Linux
  • Plesk 12.0 for Linux

Symptoms

I created a site snapshot in Parallels Web Presence Builder (WPB) 11.0, restored the snapshot on another domain, and then published the new site.

On the published site, I see that images are missing. In the image preferences, an invalid path to image is shown:

http://%domain.tld%/sitebuilder/sites/6d/6df51e446cb30322ba7e62580d005e6d/attachments/Image/IMAGE_FILE.jpg

where 6df51e446cb30322ba7e62580d005e6d is the ID of the old site. Actual image is available at different location:

/var/www/vhosts/%domain.tld%/httpdocs/attachments/Image/IMAGE_FILE.jpg

Cause

The issue is caused by an error in the product (internal issue IDs are TP-114173 and TP-142049 ).

Resolution

The problem has been fixed since 11.0.9 MU#59. Consider installing the microupdate .

IMPORTANT : After installation of the microupdate remember to restore the snapshot and re-publish the site.
