Database backup restoration failing from Plesk: TRIGGER command denied to user

Symptoms

  • Trying to restore a database backup fails with the error:

    ERROR 1142 (42000) at line 202 in file: '/tmp/migration-unpack-oHWAvN/backup_1602021409': TRIGGER command denied to user 'backup_7Sgw37C'@'localhost' for table 'table1' [ExecCmd.cpp:68] void plesk::ExecCmd::reportError() const
  • Restoring from command line works:

    mysql -uadmin -p$(cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow) wordpress_f < database_backup

Cause

This is a software issue with internal ID #PPPM-3628 . The issue is fixed in Plesk 12.5 MU #22.

Resolution

Install the latest microupdates using Plesk autoinstaller.
