Symptoms

I have a problem with Parallels Plesk Sitebuilder 4.5. Several pages are shown as HTML code, modules do not work, or sites look bad.

Cause

Verify the web browser you use for site management. Most likely, it is not supported by Parallels Plesk Sitebuilder 4.5.

Web Browsers supported by Parallels Plesk Sitebuilder 4.5 are listed on the requirements page and in the release notes for Linux and Windows editions.

The following web browsers are supported by Parallels Plesk Sitebuilder 4.5:

Other web browsers were not tested with the application and normal functionality cannot be guaranteed.

Parallels Plesk Sitebuilder 4.5 is no longer in development, so future updates are not expected and feature requests will not be implemented.

Resolution

Use Parallels' new application for site management - Parallels Web Presence Builder .

We recommend you setup the appropriate edition of Parallels Web Presence Builder and migrate your sites with the Import Site from Sitebuilder 4.5 tool.

The following notifications may be shown when you login to Parallels Plesk Sitebuilder 4.5 for Linux with unsupported web browser:

Unfortunately, your browser is not supported by Sitebuilder.
Please use Internet Explorer 5.5 or later, or Mozilla.

To remove the warning and continue working, add the following directive into the configuration file of Parallels Plesk Sitebuilder 4.5 for Linux ( /usr/local/sitebuilder/config - for RedHat-like OS, /opt/sitebuilder/config - for Debian and Ubuntu):
