After the failed Plesk upgrade or manually removing the package
plesk-l10n, Plesk interface is not accessible with the error:
CONFIG_TEXT: Server Error
Unable to set up default locale: default locale does not exist or undefined.
Message Unable to set up default locale: default locale does not exist or undefined.
Due to locale folder permissions, the locale which was previously set up as default was unregistered from the Plesk database during the upgrade.
plesk-l10n was manually removed.
Connect to the server using SSH.
Set the locale
en-USas the default one:
# plesk bin server_pref --set-default -locale en-US
# plesk bin admin -u -locale en-US
Reinstall Plesk updates so the package
# plesk installer update --repatch
(OPTIONAL) Log into Plesk and set the desired locale.
