Website is not accessible: Can not read/write to nginx.conf

Symptoms

Website is not accessible with the following error:

Error: New configuration files for the Apache web server were not created due to the errors in configuration templates: Can not read/write to /var/www/vhosts/system/example.com/conf/nginx.conf.

Cause

Immutable bit was set to /var/www/vhosts/system/example.com/conf/nginx.conf .

Resolution

  1. Remove the bit:

    # chattr -i /var/www/vhosts/system/example.com/conf/nginx.conf
  2. Regenerate the website configuration:

    # /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/httpdmng  --reconfigure-domain example.com
