New domain is created with 'Disabled' status.

Symptoms

  1. When I create new domain in Plesk Control panel, it is created with 'Disabled' status.
  2. In panel.log, you may see the following error:
    [panel]: Unable to activate the domain: Either the domain owner or their subscription is suspended.

Cause

  1. Some event is enabled for domain creation task in Tools and Settings-> Event Manager
  2. Customer (that you create domain for) is disabled.

Resolution

  1. Make sure that there is no any task in Event Manager that may affect on disabling domain. You can check it in Plesk Control Panel->Tools and Utilities->Event Manager

  2. Make sure that client (that you create domain for) is not disabled. You can check it in database:

    # mysql -uadmin -p`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow ` psa

    mysql> select id,pname,status,type from clients;
    +----+-----------------+--------+-------+
    | id | pname | status | type |
    +----+-----------------+--------+-------+
    | 1 | Main Admin | 0 | admin |
    | 2 | Test Client | 1 | client|
    +----+-----------------+--------+-------+

Status=1 means that client is disabled. Status=0 means customer is active.

Activate customer in Plesk Control Panel->Customer->customer name->Activate. If the client is admin, update status of client in database as below:

    mysql> update clients set status=0 where type='admin';
Query OK, 1 row affected (0.04 sec)
