Unable to start Premium Antivirus: Plesk authorization failed: cannot load Plesk public key from - No such file or directory

Symptoms

Unable to start Premium Antivirus daemon in the system, the following error appears:

# /etc/init.d/drwebd start
Starting Dr.Web drwebd...

A path to a valid license key file was not specified.
Plesk authorization failed: cannot load Plesk public key from - No such file or directory
Error: Plesk Software not running.

Cause

Premium Antivirus key is not defined in /etc/drweb/drweb32.ini .

Resolution

  1. Make sure there is /opt/drweb/drweb32.key which is actually Premium Antivirus key.

  2. Add the following line to /etc/drweb/drweb32.ini :

    Key = /opt/drweb/drweb32.key
  3. Make sure you have the correct permission to /etc/drweb/ folder:

    # ls -ld /etc/drweb/
    drwxrwxr-x. 5 drweb drweb 4096 dic 1 12:17 /etc/drweb/
