psa.conf gets overwritten inaccurately

Applicable to:

  • Plesk 12.5 for Linux

Symptoms

  • If Postgresql server is installed, the following command overwrites /etc/psa/psa.conf partially:

    # /opt/psa/admin/bin/pg_manage --status
  • /etc/psa/psa.conf contains only the following lines after command execution:

    # PostgreSQL
    PGSQL_DATA_D /var/lib/postgresql/9.4
    9.4/main
    main_backup
    9.4/main
    main_backup
    9.4/main
    main_backup
    PGSQL_CONF_D /etc/postgresql/9.4
    9.4/main
    main_backup
    9.4/main
    main_backup
    9.4/main
    main_backup
    PGSQL_BIN_D /usr/lib/postgresql/9.4
    9.4/bin
    9.4/bin
    9.4/bin

Cause

This is a software issue with internal ID# PPPM-4656 . The fix will be included in further Plesk updates.

Resolution

As workaround, apply the patch to /opt/psa/admin/sbin/pg_manage file using the command below:

# patch diff.patch /opt/psa/admin/sbin/pg_manage
