Customer cannot login into Plesk: You have entered incorrect username or password

Symptoms

Unable to login to Plesk as customer or reseller:

Error: You have entered incorrect username or password.

Cause

Wrong password is being used.

Resolution

"Forgot your password?" option can be used to retrieve client's/reseller's password or Plesk Administrator can reset old password for required user.

Please follow the following step to reset the password:

  1. Access the Plesk with the admin user.

  2. Go to Home > Customers > <customer_name> > Change Login Info

  3. Enter a new password or generate it using Generate button.

  4. Apply changes by clicking OK button.
