Plesk migration issue: Subscription does not exists on source, Probably it was removed from the source server since migration was started

Applicable to:

  • Plesk 12.5 for Linux
  • Plesk 12.0 for Linux

Symptoms

Unable to migrate domain from Plesk 12.0 to 12.5:

warning: Subscription 'example.com' does not exists on source server(s).
Probably it was removed from the source server since migration was started.
Migration of that subscription will be skipped.

The following registry entry shows that the source server version is 12.5.30:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Wow6432Node\\PLESK\\Config\\PSA Config\\Config\\PANEL VERSION=12.5.30

But in fact the current Plesk version on source server is 12.0.18.

Cause

Failed upgrade attempt on a source server which prevents migration tool from correctly defining what the real Plesk version is on the source server.

Resolution

Finish Plesk upgrade on the source server and re-run migration.

Note: roll back of Plesk upgrade is not possible.
