When attempt to upload a file with a large size using Backup Manager or File Manager, Plesk shows following error:
HTTP Error 404.13 - Not Found
The request filtering module is configured to deny a request that exceeds the request content length.

By default, the default
maxAllowedContentLength value in Plesk is 30000000.
Note: if you don't have administrative access to Plesk server via RDP, contact your hosting provider regarding the issue
1. Login to the server via RDP
2. Modify the
C:\> %windir%\system32\inetsrv\appcmd set config "PleskControlPanel/" -section:requestFiltering -requestLimits.maxAllowedContentLength:4294967295
This command sets
to 4GB. This is the maximum file size which can be uploaded through IIS is 4GB (
maxAllowedContentLength = 4294967295).
If a file of size more 4GB should be uploaded, use another service to do it (for example, FTP).
If it is a backup file, the following command can be used to upload a local file to the Plesk backup repository:
C:\> "%plesk_bin%\pmm-ras.exe" --import-file-as-dump --dump-file-specification="C:\\backup.file"
