Resolution

  1. Go to C:\\inetpub\\vhosts\\.skel\\0\\httpdocs (in case if the HTTPD_VHOSTS_D is set to C:\\Inetpub\\vhosts\\ as it used by default)

  2. Create a web.config file with the content alike one listed below. That web.config file will be used to set a default document, or list of default documents for your websites.

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <configuration>
    <system.webServer>
    <defaultDocument>
    <files>
    <clear />
    <add value="Index.php" />
    <add value="Index.html" />
    <add value="Index.htm" />
    <add value="Index.cfm" />
    <add value="Index.shtml" />
    <add value="Index.shtm" />
    <add value="Index.stm" />
    <add value="Index.php3" />
    <add value="Index.asp" />
    <add value="Index.aspx" />
    <add value="Default.htm" />
    <add value="Default.asp" />
    <add value="Default.aspx" />
    </files>
    </defaultDocument>
    </system.webServer>
    </configuration>
