Cause

The issue was caused by the fact that Debian 6 has reached its end-of-life on Feb 2016 and the distribution has been moved to Debian Archives .

Additonal information can be found in the following sources:

Resolution

  1. Create a backup file of /etc/apt/sources.list :

    # cp /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/sources.list.bak
  2. Edit current /etc/apt/sources.list with correct URLs:

    # cat /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://archive.debian.org/debian squeeze main contrib non-free
    deb http://security.debian.org squeeze/updates main contrib non-free
  3. Install Server Health Monitor
