Plesk shows the following error despite of the fact that Plesk installed inside of the supported virtual environment:
Error: The license key is invalid. In order to use Plesk, you need to obtain and install a new valid license key.
The license key is intended only for use with Plesk operating inside the following virtual environments: Virtuozzo Containers, VMWare, Microsoft Hyper-V, Xen, KVM, Parallels Server.
Plesk sees the environment as non-virtual:
C:\\>"%plesk_bin%\\php.exe" -dauto_prepend_file= -r "echo get_virtualization();"
The value of
SystemBiosVersion parameter in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\HARDWARE\\DESCRIPTION\\System is correct, e.g.
This is Plesk internal issue with ID #PPPM-3220 , which will be fixed in future Plesk updates.
As workaround follow the steps below:
- Create a backup of original
%plesk_bin%\\plesksrv.exefile and replace it with the attached one .
- Restart Plesk Management Service.
