Applicable to:
- Plesk 12.0 for Windows
Symptoms
When installing Wordpress on a Unicode pathname. The install fails with the following errors in
php_error.log
:
ERR [panel] Exception: Unable to write file C:\\Vhosts\\domain.tld\\cñ-domain.es\\wordpress\\/wp-config.php.
PHP Warning: fopen(C:\\Vhosts\\domain.tld\\cñ-domain.es\\wordpress\\/wp-config.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in G:\\PleskData\\var\\apspackages\\apsBF46.tmp.zip7fe8a0da-b4a9-8de2-1a\\cache\\scripts\\file-util.php on line 15
Changing the document root to a non-Unicode pathname (e.g. 'cñ-domain.es' to 'cn-domain.es') eliminates the problem.
Cause
Internal product issue #PPPM-1965 . The issue affects only Plesk 12 for Windows. Linux version is not affected.
Resolution
