Daily maintenance script takes up to 10 hours to complete. Webstatistics script takes too much time to process one domain

Symptoms

Daily maintenance script /etc/cron.daily/50plesk-daily takes up to 10 hours to complete due to statistics utility:

zcat /var/log/cron.*.gz | grep 50plesk-daily
Jul 5 03:15:01 spl60 run-parts(/etc/cron.daily)[17122]: starting 50plesk-daily
Jul 5 11:35:56 spl60 run-parts(/etc/cron.daily)[3864]: finished 50plesk-daily
Jul 4 03:47:00 spl60 run-parts(/etc/cron.daily)[5332]: starting 50plesk-daily
Jul 4 12:40:07 spl60 run-parts(/etc/cron.daily)[1207]: finished 50plesk-daily

Manual recalculation for one domain can take up to 2 hours even if log files has small size:

# /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/statistics --calculate-one --domain-name=example.com

Cause

This is an internal issue with ID #PPPM-3083 , which has been fixed in Plesk 12.0 microupdate #71 .

Resolution

Apply the latest Plesk microupdates .
