[Info] Configuring PEAR in PHP

Resolution

To configure PEAR, which is bundled with PHP, the following steps must be completed:

  1. Launch the command prompt.

  2. cd "%plesk_dir%Additional\Php\"

Note : The folder may be a different one, e.g., in case of using PHP5.

  3. Execute go-pear.bat , and follow the on-screen instructions.

  4. Add the path for the newly created pear.bat file to the PATH system variable after installation, and reboot the machine for the changes to take effect.

These actions will install the "pear" command, including basic PEAR packages, to your server. You can use the "pear" command from the Windows command prompt to manage PEAR packages.

Please visit http://pear.php.net for more detailed information on configuring and using PEAR packages.
