Plesk for Linux
kb: technical
Symptoms
The option Performance Booster is not available after the update to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.52 under Tools & Settings > General Settings.
Cause
The feature is being rolled out gradually so there is a probability that the feature is not enabled on your installation yet.
Resolution
The feature may be enabled manually.
-
Add the following lines to the Plesk panel.ini file:
CONFIG_TEXT: [ext-performance-booster]
enabled=1 -
Save changes.

Hi,
why is the option missing after update is not stated here? Plesk has two strange behaviors:
1. Installing extensions although e.g. disabled with custom installation. Just some days later on, they are installed automatically.
2. Meanwhile this feature, which already was there one day is missing the other. So if stating not enabled yet, I'm wondering, it was and now it isn't any more?
Would prefer, that plesk may use notifications or sth. similar to promote new options/extensions, but not installing them without being chosen or chosen by auto-update (maybe introduce an option like "auto-install new features" and "auto-install new extensions". BTW just by announcing a feature within Plesk I also got another extension auto-installed, which I didn't choose, it's no good behavior.
Regards
Christian
