Question
Does Plesk installed on AWS instance support AWS Auto Scaling?
Answer
No, Plesk on AWS does not support AWS Auto Scaling.
There is no difference whether Plesk is installed using AWS marketplace or on "clear" instance.
Auto Scaling implies that EC2 instances are organized into groups so that they can be treated as a logical unit. However Plesk cannot work in such way.

Hey there, Alexander Davydov. I stumbled upon your tutorial, and it is quite informative, however I'd like to shed some light on the subject of Plesk and AWS Auto Scaling. Before I start my explanation, what do you think: Aws vs Azure: Which Is Better for Career Opportunity in 2023? I'm interested in your opinion as an expert.
Firstly, I must agree with your assessment that Plesk doesn't play nice with AWS Auto Scaling. Your explanation about how Auto Scaling organizes EC2 instances into logical units is spot on. Plesk, being a control panel for web hosting, doesn't inherently support this level of orchestration.
However, there's a workaround you might consider if you require Auto Scaling with Plesk. You should set up a custom script or use AWS Elastic Load Balancing (ELB) in conjunction with Plesk to achieve some level of redundancy and scalability. While it may not provide the full Auto Scaling capabilities, it can help distribute traffic and make sure high availability for your web applications.
I've had some experience making an attempt to integrate Plesk with AWS services, and it can be a bit of a challenge, but with the right configurations and a sprint of creativity, you can make it work.
