- Emails do not show inline images (URL references to images which have to be loaded from a remote server) in message body: the place where image should appear is blank (empty).
- Images are shown as attached files instead.
- Roundcube is setup to display inline messages in Settings > Preferences > Displaying Messages > Display remote inline images = Always
- The same message is shown the same way on any mail agent (mail client) and in any other webmail: it displays images as attached files too.
Sender formatted message this way to insert URL to an image as a file, not as an image. Inline images will be displayed in the message body only if URL was inserted as image.
