How to find name of the database that was created along with WordPress installation?
- Log into Plesk.
- Domains > example.com > Databases:
The required database will be named as
x- some character (that's the default template).
Alternatively, this may be done through the command line:
- Connect to the server using SSH/RDP.
Run the following command in order to identify the database name (here
wordpress_4is a database name):
# cat /var/www/vhosts/example.com/httpdocs/wp-config.php | grep "The name of the database for WordPress" -A 2
/** The name of the database for WordPress */
define( 'DB_NAME', 'wordpress_4' );
