- Plesk Onyx for Linux
Note: The solution in this article is valid only if all the symptoms are met.
It is not possible to remove an SSL certificate at Domains > example.com > SSL/TLS Certificates. The following error message appears in Plesk:
PLESK_ERROR: Unable to remove SSL/TLS certificates. One or more certificates are used by websites.
The option SSL/TLS Support is disabled at Domains > example.com > Hosting Settings, however the SSL certificate is set in the Certificate box.
No other domains/web-mails/IP addresses are using this certificate. This can be checked using the steps from this KB article.
This is a Plesk bug with ID PPPM-7713 that is going to be fixed in future product updates.
As a workaround, follow these steps:
In Plesk, go to Domains > example.com > Hosting Settings.
Enable the option SSL/TLS Support, set Certificate to Not Selected and click Apply.
Then disable SSL/TLS Support option again and click OK.
Go Domains > example.com > SSL/TLS Support and remove the certificate.
