- Plesk 12.5 for Windows
Is it possible to configure the access to Plesk for Windows for customers on another port?
Such feature is not implemented in Plesk yet, thus take part in our product improvement by referring to the following link: https://plesk.uservoice.com/forums/184549-feature-suggestions
The top-ranked suggestions are likely to be included in the next versions of Plesk.
The following workaround can be used:
- Create an additional binding for the site pleskcontrolpanel in IIS as described in the article: How to change the port for the Plesk interface on Windows .
- Using the firewall, grant access to the server on port 8443 only to the networks from which Plesk administrator connects.
Note: This workaround is not officially supported by Plesk and on the reconfiguration of the Plesk services the additional binding will be removed.
