Emails are sent with a wrong hostname in a sender address from a Plesk for Linux server with Postfix

    Good evening,

    I do have a issue i don't know how to fix this.

    myhostname = localhost.localdomain       

    myhostname = server.example.com i do use spemfilter from hosting company it's cold hostnet and my plesk is vps.idesign-solutions.nl/

    i dont know if have to put  myhostname = vps.idesign-solutions.nl  or myhostname = smtp.hosnet.nl 

    plase take look at the next link and see if you can help mee. to get this issue solved

    Hello @Hassan Oumar,

    Thank you for your question.

    To set up myhostname value properly it is required to set the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) that will be used in a sender address.

    As I can see from MXToolBox report myhostname is currently set as idesign-solutions.nl.
    This value is the correct one as it meets the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) requirement.

    If you set myhostname value as vps.idesign-solutions.nl, it would be correct as well.
