There are 2 configuration files are created for additional domain or subdomain.
The main domain has set PHP handler served by FastCGI and assigned service plan has PHP handler served by nginx.
If the additional domain/subdomain is removed PHP-FPM service goes down because of orphaned pool configuration file.
Attempt to re-create domain/subdomain fails with the error:
PLESK_ERROR: phpinimng failed: Unable to update the config file for 'fpm' service due to syntax errors.
This is Plesk bug #PPPM-7671. It will be fixed in future Plesk updates.
Until fix become available, use the following workaround:
1. Log into Plesk and browse to Home > Subscription > example.com > PHP Settings , where example.com is a main domain.
2. Change PHP handler to the same as it is specified in assigned service plan.
If there is PHP-FPM service is not running, due to previous attempts to remove additional domains/subdomains, apply the resolution from the article Unable to update the config file for 'fpm' service due to syntax errors
