Can Kaspersky AntiVirus scan outgoing mail?
Yes, it can scan outgoing mail as well as incoming.
This feature activates with enabling the Kaspersky AntiVirus in Tools & Settings > Mail Server Settings > Antivirus settings > Used antivirus > Kaspersky AntiVirus.
After enabling and applying the changes, this feature can be tested by sending
EICAR test file in mail message:
- Log in to the mail account;
- Send message in plain text with the following content:
- The recipient of this message will get disinfected version of the message: all malicious parts will be stripped off:
