    I think this could be fixed by changing

    auth_mechanisms = plain login cram-md5 digest-md5 apop

    to

    auth_mechanisms = plain login cram-md5 apop

    in /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf

    Hi @Benjamin,

    Thank you for notice.

    Since the cause is RoundCube not using DIGEST-MD5 it is better to modify RoundCube configuration.

    Dovecot configuration changes will affect other webmails or mail clients.

    Hello @Firstserv Support,

    In case if other IMAP clients (e.g. Outlook) work as expected, then the most probable cause of such behavior is that there is a misconfiguration of the Apple Mail.
    So to resolve such issue it will be required to contact AppleCare.

    If issues can be seen with other IMAP clients as well, please submit a request to Plesk Technical Support.
