    I have the same issue and when I try to apply the fix described above I dont get the subdomain to resolve.

    My host saying that I cannot use the plesk subdomain feature to create subdomains in order to do that I need to mange my own DNS server. the alternative is to create a subdomain on the host control panel and use the A record.

    If the main domain points to Plesk server, and DNS zone is managed by Plesk it is better to create subdomain under main domain. In this case Plesk will store A record for subdomain in DNS zone of main domain.

    Thanks Lev,

    what do you mean by saying main domain? i have multiple domains of the same host all point to the plesk server.

    do you mean the host main account domain?

    @David Zohar,
    For example,
    sub.example.com - is a subdomain,
    example.com - is its main domain

    yes, you are right.

    my questions is not about that but rather about the fact that my host manage all the DNS. i need to understand how to move from my host DNS zone and manage the DNS on Plesk... i have to contact mt hosting provider...

    @David Zohar, As I understand, no. You don;t need to contact your hosting provider. If it is your own website, you just need to go to registrar and change the NS servers on registrar side and specify your NS servers.
