WE do not have debian or ubuntu or version 17.5 and are getting this error.  WE have (We have Just Plesk not Onyx) :

    • OS: CentOS Linux 7.4.1708 (Core)
    • Plesk version: 12.5.30 Update #76 , last updated at July 20, 2018 03:44 AM

we use it to do a simple backup copy of a directory:

Unable to copy //domaindirectory.com: filemng failed: filemng: Error occurred during /bin/cp command.

(domaindirectory is a dummy for the actual directory)

So how do we fix it?

    Hi Sid,

Entirely different environment quite often means entirely different issue.

I recommend reaching out to our support for proper investigation and assistance: https://support.plesk.com/

Since the Plesk we have came with the OVH server, i.e., not a separate purchase, Plesk support refuses to answer/allow the question.

    Hello @Sib B,

In this case, you have two options:

    1. Contact OVH, according to the agreement they should support such installations. In case they are not able to resolve the issue, they have an ability to create a support request to Plesk.

    2.  If you want to get a support directly from Plesk company, you may purchase a support subscription. Visit KB #213953025 to learn how to buy a support subscription.
