Note: This article has the reference to the issue with the fix available:
- #PMT-3558 "Plesk Migrator did not set a password for the source server’s user that it creates for copying content.
Some servers’ configurations forbid SSH authorization of such users, thus making copying unavailable."

It is not possible to migrate a subscription.
The following migration log entry can be found under Plesk > Tools&Settings > Migration & Transfer Manager > IP of source server > example.com:
Failed to copy '/home/example' from the source server 'cpanel' (203.0.113.2) to target Plesk server
Migration tools tried to perform operation in 3 attempts.
stderr: Warning: Permanently added '[203.0.113.3]:22099' (RSA) to the list of known hosts.
Permission denied (publickey,gssapi-keyex,gssapi-with-mic,password).
rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (0 bytes received so far) [Receiver]rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12 ) at io.c(605) [Receiver=3.0.9]
This is Plesk Migrator bug with ID # PMT-3558 which was fixed in Plesk Migrator 2.9 .
Plesk Migrator gets updated automatically, no special actions are required.
