Sadly this isn't working for me, don't know if I'm doing something wrong. Any updates on this question? Thank you very much.

Hi Vitaly, I'm having the same symlink error when I access File Manager:

Symlinks out of webspace are prohibited /: Access to realpath denied:

The apache nginx workaround seems not to work for me.

And I found the same issues explained in this article too:

    https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002701469-Cannot-use-File-Manager-with-cgroups-service-started-

Tried the solutions suggested and doesn't work for me too. File Manager only works without errors when I disable cgroups service.

Thank you very much for your help.

After aplying latest plesk updates and rebooting the system, the trouble has gone. I undid the workaround changes, rebooted again and it's still working ok.

Juan Antonio solution worked for us!

Installed Plesk Onyx las version on Ubuntu 16.04. Only way to work with file manager was to uninstall CGroups service.

None of the solutions work for me.

I think it might be a permissions issue. Does anyone know which user does the plesk interface use?

    Hello @Santi Calvo,

Plesk File Manager uses a subscription system user.

Please make sure that the symbolic link doesn't link outside of the webspace. Such a link is not possible due to security reasons.

If the issue still remains, contact Plesk technical support for assistance:
