While trying to update a WordPress plugin under
Domains > example.com > WordPress
, the following error appears:
PLESK_ERROR: The WordPress installations were updated with errors:
Installation "example": The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions.
The PHP handler under
Domains > example.com > PHP Settings
is set as
mod_php served by Apache.
The inconsistency of permissions.
mod_php served by Apache
handles requests under apache user, while the files under domain's directory are owned by a system user of the domain.
Change PHP handler under Domains > example.com >PHP Settings to another one.
