- Plesk Onyx for Linux
- After a dist-upgrade from Ubuntu 14 to Ubuntu 16 with Plesk, via instructions from the article How to perform dist-upgrade procedure, Plesk cron jobs which use PHP provided by OS vendor (v5.5.9) stop working.
A manual launch of the tasks, for example, in Tools & Settings > Scheduled Tasks > Run Now (green arrow against a task) fails with the following error:
PLESK_ERROR: Task "/root/script.php" completed with error in 0 seconds, output:
/bin/sh: /usr/bin/php5: No such file or directory
Plesk bug with ID #PPPM-7371.
As a workaround:
- Log in to Plesk
- Go to Tools & Settings > Scheduled Tasks, open each task and click OK to reapply the changes.
