Migration from Confixx via Plesk Migrator's User Interface goes slowly.
The following records can be found in Plesk Migrator's
info.log after every 10 subscriptions migrated:
CONFIG_TEXT: [INFO] START: Fetch information from source panel
[INFO] Create source panel dump XML
[INFO] FINISH: Fetch information from source panel
If a migration is performed via User Interface, Plesk Migrator creates a full backup of a source server after every 10 subscriptions.
Such behavior is by design. It allows inserting some priority tasks into the migration queue, such as prechecks or a DNS switching.
Alternatively, a migration can be started via command-line.
More information is available in the Migration Guide.
To speed-up migration perform the following actions:
- Connect to the server using SSH
- Create backup of the file /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/PhpSettings/Config.php
# cp –a /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/PhpSettings/Config.php /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/PhpSettings/Config.php.bkp
- Download Config.php.gz from the attachments and replace the original file:
# cd /root
# wget https://plesk.zendesk.com/hc/article_attachments/115003795173/Config.php.gz
# gunzip Config.php.gz
# cp /root/Config.php /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/PhpSettings/Config.php
The patch above will set default PHP handler served by FastCGI during subscription creation.
