    this was working for plesk 17x but not for 18x. once mariadb 10.3 has been installed

    Hello @Robert,

    Most probably, the configuration file was rewritten.

    Please, make sure that the configuration is in place.

    Additional investigation is required.

    Hi

    i have same problem by MySQL after update Plesk and show error Connection Refused , i Remove this 4 setting in my.ini at this path ( C:\Program Files (x86)\Plesk\Databases\MySQL ) and then Restart MySQL and Resolved Problem

    1-before change in my.ini please get a backup from this file

    2-your path ( C:\Program Files (x86)\Plesk\Databases\MySQL ) may different

    3- Remove this 4 setting from my.ini :

    skip-grant-tables=TRUE
    skip-networking=TRUE
    enable-named-pipe=TRUE
    socket=35c50c3f-f21c-4a16-8e39-812d18e99607

    4 - Restart MySQL
