Error in mail log during scheduled task execution: User unknown in virtual alias table

Symptoms

After upgrade from Plesk 11.0 to 17.0 in /var/log/maillog appear messages that emails were bounced:

where hostname.example.com - server hostname

user - system user name

Scheduled tasks are configured to set notifications at Domains > example.com > Scheduled Tasks > <scheduled_task_name> > Send notifications to Default system user (user@hostname.example.com)

Cause

There is no such mail user on a server.

Resolution

Specify an existent mail user for notifications at Domains > example.com > Scheduled Tasks > <scheduled_task_name>
