How to configure Plesk as a secondary (slave) DNS server?
To make the Plesk DNS server act as a secondary name server:
- Log in to Plesk
Go to Websites & Domains > example.com > DNS Settings
Click Master/Slave to switch DNS server mode
Click Add Record and specify the IP address of the primary (master) DNS server:
Click OK and then click Update:
Repeat the steps from 2 to 5 for each domain that should be served by Plesk DNS as a secondary server.
Note: To roll back the configuration change and make the DNS server act as the primary one, click Master/Slave on the same page and DNS server mode will be switched back.
