Online optimization test tools like Google PageSpeed Insights shows that GZIP compression is not enabled for website
example.com<>. However it is enabled for Apache webserver according to the article
How to enable GZIP compression in Apache?
Nginx support is enabled on the server:
# /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/nginxmng -s
Options Smart static files processing and Serve static files directly by nginx are enabled Home > Domains > example.com > Apache & nginx Settings
GZIP compression is enabled for Apache only, however static files processed by Nginx and not compressed.
The recommended solution is enable GZIP compression for nginx. Refer the article How to enable gzip compression on nginx? to find how to do that.
Disable nginx support:
# /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/nginxmng -d
Warning: Disabling of nginx support can take a significant time in case of big number of domains. Perform such task when the server load is minimal
Note: That disabling of nginx support can increase server load and affect its performance.
