- The database creation on PostgreSQL server under Domains > example.com > Databases > Add Database fails with the following error:
PLESK_ERROR: The test connection to the database server has failed because of network problems: No route to host
- There are the following entries in
CONFIG_TEXT: ERR [panel] throw: pg_connect(): Unable to connect to PostgreSQL server: could not connect to server: No route to host
Is the server running on host "192.0.2.2" and accepting
TCP/IP connections on port 5432?
- PostgreSQL port is listened on the server:
# netstat -tln | grep 5432
tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:5432 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
Firewall is blocking port 5432.
Make sure that there are no rules which prohibit FTP connection in Plesk in Tools & Settings > Firewall.
If the system or a third party firewall is active on the server, made sure that it is not blocking the connection to the required port.
There may be an intermediate firewall between. In this case, it is required to contact the service provider.
